Prime Minister awards cheque to winner of largest super jackpot

Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa on December 18, awarded the cheque to Makangama Priyantha Kumara of Malangama, Rathnapura, who won the largest jackpot of Rs. 145,029,213 in the history of the DLB.

R.G.Soma Priyanthi, Sales Agent of the DLB of Godakawela had sold the winning ticket.

At the same occasion, the Prime Minister had awarded the cheque to the value of Rs. 71,705,310, which is the Super Jackpot of 3267 draw of the Shanida Wasana lottery, one of the oldest lottery tickets of DLB to D. K. Kumara from Horana, the lucky winner of the lottery.
